I understand that this information is provided to and will be used and relied upon by Suncor Energy Products Partnership (“SEPP”) and its agents for the purposes of considering my application for an agreement with SEPP, conducting credit investigations, monitoring credit status and entering into and performing any agreement. Should I be offered an agreement with SEPP, I consent to SEPP obtaining from, exchanging with or disclosing to other credit grantors and recognized credit bureaus any and all information for the above-mentioned purposes and to ensure the accuracy of this information. I further understand that SEPP will retain this information only as long as necessary for the fulfilment of the above-mentioned purposes.

I authorize SEPP to verify at any time the information provided and to request or obtain any other information relevant to this application, including, but not limited to, photo identification. This information may be obtained by telephone or in writing from educational institutions, my current or former employers, my personal references, other applicable parties, or myself. I authorize validation of this information during the consideration of this application, and if I am offered an agreement, for the duration of the agreement.

I understand that any false, omitted or misleading statements/information provided may be grounds for rejection of my application or immediate termination of any agreement I have entered into with SEPP, without notice. I authorize SEPP to disclose my information to the applicable policing authorities and/or the applicable financial institution(s) during any investigation of credit/debit card and/or suspected criminal/fraudulent activities at or involving any SEPP retail sites.

I understand that if my application is selected for consideration, I will have to provide to SEPP a Criminal Background check report. If additional Criminal Background Check information is required as a result of the Criminal Background Check results (i.e. where the report indicates that there has been a charge/conviction against me, with the wording NOT CLEAR), I agree to, cooperate with SEPP by providing such additional information or reports as SEPP may reasonably request at my sole expense. If I fail to supply such information or reports, SEPP may decline my application.
